Circa Loft is a wholesale furniture company based in High Point, North Carolina. We supply reclaimed wood furniture, antiques, and globally sourced home furnishings to retail stores, interior designers, and hospitality clients across the United States.
Our showroom features unique pieces sourced from Indonesia, India, and other regions around the world. We work in a creative, hands-on environment surrounded by furniture, design, and new product arrivals.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Showroom & Sales Assistant to help manage our showroom and support both our in-house and outside sales efforts.
This position includes customer-facing sales support as well as operational tasks. The role involves helping customers select items in the showroom, preparing invoices and orders, gathering product information, taking photos, and helping keep the showroom organized.
This is a great position for someone who enjoys working in a creative furniture environment and being part of a small team.
Key Responsibilities--Customer Sales Support
- Assist customers visiting the showroom and help them select products
- Walk the showroom with customers and help put orders together
- Prepare invoices and sales orders for in-house purchases
- Provide basic product information including materials, dimensions, and pricing
- Help connect customers with the appropriate salesperson when needed
Sales Team Support
- Respond to customer inquiries about product availability and specifications
- Check inventory levels and confirm stock availability
- Gather product information and photos for sales staff to send to customers
- Assist with order processing and administrative tasks
Product Information & Photos
- Take clear photos of showroom items when requested
- Provide measurements and product details
- Tag and label showroom items
Showroom Organization
- Maintain an organized and professional showroom environment
- Help arrange furniture displays
- Track showroom pieces and inventory
Work Environment
Circa Loft operates in a working showroom and warehouse environment.
While the main office area is comfortable, much of the warehouse space is not climate controlled. During summer and winter months temperatures may be warmer or cooler depending on the season.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a hands-on environment that includes occasional time in warehouse areas.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to move and reposition furniture when arranging displays
- Ability to lift approximately 40 lbs
- Comfortable walking through showroom and warehouse spaces
Qualifications
Preferred but not required:
- Experience in retail, showroom environments, or administrative support
- Interest in furniture, home décor, or interior design
Required skills:
- Strong attention to detail
- Friendly and professional communication skills
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks
- Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, photos)
Schedule
- Typical Monday–Friday schedule
- 8-hour shifts
- Some flexibility required during busy showroom periods and major events such as High Point Market
