Happy Day Corporation is seeking a dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance of our restaurants, distribution center, and corporate facilities. This position performs a wide variety of building, equipment, and facility maintenance work, and every day brings something different.
- Perform repairs on restaurant equipment and building systems.
- Complete preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility issues.
- Install equipment and assist with remodels.
- Respond to emergency service calls.
- Complete work orders accurately.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Safely operate company vehicles, tools, ladders, and equipment.
- Communicate repair status with management.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
- Experience in general maintenance or construction trades.
- Ability to work independently.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, commercial kitchen equipment, welding/fabrication, HVAC, refrigeration, preventive maintenance, or CMMS software.
- EPA Certification or HVAC experience welcomed but not required.
- Stand, walk, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- Work indoors, outdoors, rooftops, kitchens, coolers, freezers, and mechanical rooms.
- Safely use tools and maintenance equipment.
- Work in varying weather conditions.
