Duties
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and efficiently to support various construction activities
- Perform foundational tasks such as digging trenches, mixing concrete, and installing basic structures
- Follow detailed instructions from supervisors to ensure precise execution of tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices
- Support team members in lifting, moving, and securing materials to meet project timelines
- Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
Experience
- 1-3 years experience in construction or related manual labor roles
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or technical instructions is a plus
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA regulations related to construction sites
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and task completion
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential for consistent attendance on job sites
