Automotive Technician / Mechanic
The Internet Car Lot Service Center is now hiring an automotive technician to add to our growing team! We are a very successful, locally owned and rapidly growing company who have been in business for 20 years. We just moved into our brand new state-of-the-art 50,000 square foot Service Center and have quickly become the largest online independent dealership in the area! The shop features brand new equipment and is fully climate control so you can work in comfort. We maintain a fleet of over 800 vehicles that is growing in size daily! There is never a shortage of work! We are seeking a very knowledgeable, hardworking, sharp, energetic, motivated technician with integrity.

What We Need:
- Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, air conditioning, etc.
- Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors
- Perform basic care and maintenance including oil changes, and tire rotations
- Repair (disassemble and reassemble parts) vehicles in the allotted time as estimated
- Keep the shop clean, organized and presentable
- Use testing equipment to ensure repairs and maintenance are effective
- Identify mechanical problems, often by using computerized diagnostic equipment
What You Need:
- Automotive Technician experience: 3-7 years
- ASE Certification is a plus
- Technical degree is a plus
- Drivability/Diagnostics
- Have full body mobility
- Good time management skills
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time with your hands above your head
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Must have own tools and a locking tool box
- Honest and great work ethic
- Reliable transportation to and from work
