About NOCO Repair
NOCO Repair is a fast-growing remodeling company specializing in custom bathrooms, kitchens, and home renovations throughout Northern Colorado. We aren't just building beautiful projects—we're building a company that runs on great systems, exceptional customer service, and continuous improvement.
I'm looking for someone to become my right hand. This is far more than an administrative assistant position. You'll help organize my schedule, improve our operations, solve problems, build systems, and help shape the future of the company.
This role is for someone who wants to make a real impact, not someone looking for a job where they're simply told what to do every day.
What You'll Do
- Manage my calendar, priorities, and daily workflow.
- Answer phones and communicate professionally with customers.
- Schedule estimates, projects, subcontractors, and inspections.
- Coordinate materials, permits, and project logistics.
- Build and improve company systems and standard operating procedures.
- Assist with estimating, proposals, documentation, and project tracking.
- Follow up with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Research better tools, software, and processes.
- Find new ways to leverage AI throughout the business.
- Build AI workflows and automations that save time, reduce errors, and improve customer experience.
- Take ownership of problems and solve them before they become mine.
No two days will be the same.
The Person I'm Looking For
This role is much more about how you think than what you already know.
Technical aptitude is far more important than construction experience.
I can teach someone how our remodeling business works. It's much harder to teach someone how to think critically, learn new software quickly, troubleshoot technology, build automations, and create systems that make a business more efficient.
Artificial intelligence should genuinely excite you. I'm looking for someone who wants to become an expert in using AI—not someone who occasionally asks ChatGPT a question. You should constantly be exploring new AI tools, experimenting with workflows, and looking for ways to automate repetitive work, improve customer communication, streamline operations, enhance marketing, and make better business decisions.
I don't want someone who waits to be told what AI can do. I want someone who is constantly asking, "How can we use AI to make this process better?"
The ideal candidate is naturally curious, enjoys solving problems, learns quickly, and isn't afraid to figure things out independently. You should be comfortable learning new software, troubleshooting technology, and building better systems.
Construction knowledge is a bonus—not a requirement.
If I had to choose between someone with years of remodeling experience and average technology skills or someone who is highly organized, exceptionally tech-savvy, obsessed with AI, and passionate about improving businesses through technology, I'd choose the second person every time.
Working With Me
I believe in being honest about what it's like to work with me because finding the right fit is more important than simply filling the position.
I care deeply about this company, our customers, and our reputation. I move quickly, expect a lot from myself, and have high standards for the people around me.
When things are going well, I'm collaborative, approachable, and enjoy teaching. When problems begin stacking up or the pressure increases, I can become impatient, blunt, and intensely focused on solving the next problem.
My stress sometimes affects how I communicate. I'm aware of it, and I'm actively working on becoming a better leader because I know leadership starts with me.
If you need constant reassurance, avoid difficult conversations, or take direct feedback personally, this probably isn't the right position.
I'm looking for someone who stays calm under pressure, communicates honestly, solves problems independently, and is comfortable respectfully challenging my thinking if they believe there's a better solution.
I don't expect perfection. I expect ownership, accountability, initiative, and continuous improvement.
