Registered Nurse (RN) Acute General Medicine 4 Central / 4 North

The Role:
On 4 Central / 4 North, you will practice in a dynamic acute general medicine unit caring for adults with diverse and complex medical needs including endocrine disorders, infectious diseases, renal conditions, and select cardiology cases. This is a team-oriented environment where support is built into every shift.
In this role, you can expect:
Exposure to a broad spectrum of acute medical conditions, strengthening clinical versatility and critical thinking
Ongoing collaboration with physicians, specialists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary care teams
Delivering comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to medically complex adult patients
Performing assessments, developing care plans, and monitoring patient progress across diverse diagnoses
Collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize outcomes
Utilizing clinical judgment in rapidly evolving situations while prioritizing patient safety
Supporting patients and families through education, communication, and compassionate care
Engaging in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment where adaptability and teamwork are essential

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
Experience: 1 year of relevant experience.
Licensure: Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling, bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
The pay range for this role is $39.90 - $53.00 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
