The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining safe, clean, functional, and survey-ready environments across multiple Adult Day Care centers and Assisted Living facilities. This position performs routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, repairs, safety inspections, and facility support services while ensuring compliance with Colorado health, safety, OSHA, and life safety regulations.
- Perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, flooring, carpentry, lighting replacement, and HVAC monitoring.
- Conduct facility inspections to identify safety hazards, water leaks, equipment malfunctions, and infection control concerns.
- Travel between Adult Day Care and Assisted Living locations as assigned.
- Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
- Maintain compliance with Colorado regulations, OSHA standards, and fire/life safety requirements.
- Inspect and monitor emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, and safety equipment.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain maintenance logs, inspection records, and repair documentation.
- Assist with snow removal, grounds upkeep, trash management, and exterior maintenance.
- Support emergency preparedness planning and facility safety drills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Flexible schedule based on facility needs.
- Occasional on-call or emergency response availability may be required.
