What You'll Do
- Lead the daily operations of the Nursing Department.
- Mentor and support nurses and clinical leaders.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and resident-centered care.
- Partner with the Executive Director and interdisciplinary team to achieve clinical and operational goals.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Oversee quality measures, infection prevention, and survey readiness.
- Assist with staffing, retention, and employee development.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, and team members.
- Identify opportunities to improve clinical outcomes and quality of care.
What We're Looking For
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Previous Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.
- Strong knowledge of CMS and IDPH regulations.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop others.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to providing exceptional resident care.
