Seasonal Picture Day & Event Team Member
Pay: $18 to $22 per hour, based on experience, training, and assigned responsibilities

Location: Knoxville, Maryville, and surrounding East Tennessee areas
Schedule: Primarily early weekday mornings and daytime hours, with occasional evenings and weekends
About the Position
Pop Pxl is looking for dependable, outgoing team members to help create organized and enjoyable experiences at schools, youth organizations, and special events.
This is a hands-on, fast-moving position that includes working with participants, managing check-in, organizing information, setting up stations, operating company-provided equipment, and supporting event operations.
Previous photography experience is not required. Team members may be trained to photograph participants using Pop Pxl’s equipment and established process. Confidence with people, attention to detail, and reliability are more important than previous camera experience.
We can teach the equipment and workflow. Warmth, patience, dependability, and the ability to help people feel comfortable must already be part of who you are.
Responsibilities
- Help children and adults feel comfortable and confident
- Create genuine smiles and natural expressions
- Provide clear, friendly direction and guide participants through simple poses
- Operate company-provided camera and event equipment after completing training
- Check participants in and keep names and information organized
- Help groups move through each station efficiently
- Load, unload, set up, and break down equipment
- Maintain an organized and professional work area
- Work closely with other team members to keep each job running smoothly
- Follow established procedures and location-specific safety requirements
- Represent Pop Pxl professionally at every location and event

- Disclose outside employment or business activities that may create a conflict of interest
- Have dependable transportation throughout the Knoxville metro area
- Safely lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Be available for early weekday mornings and occasional evenings and weekends
Training and Employment Requirements
Employment is contingent upon:
- Successful completion of Pop Pxl’s internal training
- Demonstrating the ability to follow our processes safely and confidently
- Following all company policies and location-specific safety procedures
- Successfully completing a background check
- Meeting Pop Pxl’s confidentiality and conflict-of-interest requirements
What the Schedule Is Really Like
Our schedule changes throughout the year based on busy seasons and event bookings.
- Many shifts begin early in the morning
- Shifts may range from approximately four hours to a full day
- Available dates are offered based on availability, completed training, performance, and business needs
- Weekly hours are not guaranteed and may vary throughout the season
- Dependable transportation to locations throughout Knoxville, Maryville, and surrounding areas is required
