Position Overview
This position focuses exclusively on cleaning vacant homes before military families move in.
You will not be cleaning occupied homes or providing maid services. Instead, you will be responsible for detailed turnover cleaning of empty houses and apartments to ensure they meet move-in standards.
Most properties are completely vacant, allowing you to work efficiently without occupants present.
Responsibilities
- Perform move-in ready cleaning of vacant military housing units
- Vacuum all carpeted areas
- Sweep and mop hard surface floors
- Clean and sanitize kitchens and bathrooms
- Wipe down countertops, cabinets, drawers, and shelving
- Clean appliance interiors and exteriors when required
- Dust and wipe baseboards, doors, trim, blinds, and window sills
- Remove cobwebs and dust from ceilings, corners, and vents
- Spot clean walls and doors as needed
- Ensure each property meets company quality standards
- Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Maintain professionalism while working on military-related properties
Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be physically capable of standing, bending, lifting, and cleaning for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
- Must be trustworthy and professional
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required
- Must be able to pass a military installation background check
- Must be eligible to access Buckley Space Force Base and associated military housing properties
- Must maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times
