Requirements
- Valid RN license with current registration in the state of practice.
- Proven leadership experience in home health or related settings with supervisory responsibilities.
- Extensive clinical background including critical care experience, medical-surgical nursing, or hospital medicine.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and nursing documentation standards.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, dementia care, behavioral health issues, or long-term care populations.
- Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, state healthcare laws, and home health regulations including Medicare/Medicaid requirements.
- Ability to perform patient assessments involving vital signs, physical examinations, medication administration (including injections), catheterization, tube feeding management, and sterile techniques.
- Competence in utilizing clinical tools for triage, specimen collection/processing, infection control practices, and basic life support procedures.
