Part-time Animal Attendant - feeds, waters, grooms, bathes, and exercises animals and cleans and disinfects their cages, bowls, litter pans and living areas. Operates washer and dryer to clean kennel bedding. Administers medications under shelter manager's direction to those animals that require medications. Provides friendly interaction with clients and animals. Maintains animal records. Assists in the adoption process. Ensures customer satisfaction. Knowledge of companion animal health and behavior helpful. Animal shelter, vet tech or animal care experience a plus. Driver's license required. Part Time (may become full time), may include weekends and holidays. Must have reliable transportation.
Pay: $10.70 - $12.00 per hour
