Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate specializing in Trade Shows and Events to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, preparing materials, and ensuring seamless logistics support for trade show setups and event operations. Your energy and organizational skills will help us deliver exceptional event experiences, ensuring all equipment, displays, and materials are accurately handled, stored, and transported. Responsibilities
- Prepare, pack, and load event materials, displays, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, or reach trucks to ensure safe transportation.
- Manage inventory control by accurately tracking stock levels using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
- Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety standards such as OSHA regulations.
- Operate heavy equipment including cranes, forklifts, and order pickers to move large or heavy items safely within the warehouse.
- Assist with order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment or on-site event setup.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping & receiving activities using systems like AS400 or similar platforms.
- Support warehouse distribution tasks such as stocking, organizing storage areas, and conducting regular inventory audits to prevent discrepancies.
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management, and stock control procedures.
- Skilled in operating heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers with proper certification if applicable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment and packaging techniques.
- Experience with shipping & receiving processes, order picking & packing, and load & unload operations.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for heavy lifting and construction-related tasks.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks such as inventory control, shipping logistics, and event setup coordination. Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
