We are seeking a Product Engineering Manager to join our team. We are looking for an individual who polished, organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. Product Engineering Manager will serve as a representative of the company when interacting with clients and vendors. The Product Engineering Manager will be managing day-to-day activities related to shop drawings, manufacturing and quality control. For this role, you must have knowledge custom furniture in the Hospitality market.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Engineering & Production Management
· Lead and manage the CAD drawings engineering team, setting standards for quality, consistency, and output.
· Oversee timelines for model room and sample pieces, production scheduling, drawing management, drawing sign-off, and shipping coordination.
· Manage shop drawings and the full approval process across all active projects.
· Actively manage projects using company project management tools, maintaining current and accurate status at all times.
· Clear and consistent communication between all parties involved in a project, from designers, clients, project management team and manufacturers
· Ensure that any updates to schedule and pricing are provided to Project Managers a timely manner.
· Review production images with QC Team
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
· 2–5 years of hospitality and contract furniture engineering experience required.
· Demonstrated ability to produce detailed shop drawings, elevations, and assembly details independently.
· Background in material specification: joinery, hardware, and structural elements across wood, metal, and upholstery.
Technical Skills
· AutoCAD proficiency at a production level — able to work independently of team support.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
· Familiarity with project management tools and document management systems.

· High attention to detail — reviewing changes, mark-ups, and technical specifications with precision.
· Strong problem-solving skills; able to navigate situations where limited information exists.
· Able to interpret instructions furnished in written, verbal, or schedule form.
· Professional communication with clients, internal staff, and outside sales agents
· Proven ability to take initiative, balance multiple concurrent projects, and think ahead.
· Collaborative mindset: able to coordinate with fabricators, designers, and project managers to ensure design feasibility and compliance with hospitality standards.
· Quality control orientation: ensures all technical drawings maintain company drafting standards and budget constraints.
