Two new opportunities are available for dedicated School Psychologists to provide critical psychological services in a supportive school environment. These on-site, contract positions serve students across both Beaufort and Bluffton, allowing you to collaborate with educational professionals and make a meaningful impact throughout the school year.
Your knowledge in assessment, counseling, and consultation will be invaluable as you work directly with students and staff to foster positive learning experiences. Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification, with authorization to work in a K-12 environment
- Knowledge of psychological assessments, special education laws, and best practices for student support
- Experience working with diverse caseloads in educational settings is highly desirable
- Strong collaborative, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs and provide innovative solutions
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform individual and group assessments to identify student strengths and needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families for effective learning plans
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Support Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and implementation
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities
