About the Position
We are seeking a dependable, mature, and compassionate individual to serve as a Live In House Manager. This position plays an important role in maintaining a safe, structured, and respectful home environment while helping residents remain accountable to house expectations.
The ideal candidate enjoys leadership, takes pride in keeping a home organized, communicates effectively, and is comfortable leading by example.
Housing is provided as part of employment. This is a live in position.
Responsibilities
- Live on site and oversee the daily operation of the residence.
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming home environment.
- Enforce house rules, curfew, and daily expectations in a fair and respectful manner.
- Promote accountability by monitoring compliance with house rules and reporting safety concerns, rule violations, or suspected substance use to management.
- Safely transport residents to appointments, grocery shopping, recovery meetings, volunteer opportunities, and approved community activities using the assigned passenger van.
- Coordinate two AA meetings each week, one volunteer outing each week, and one community outing each weekend.
- Conduct routine walkthroughs of the residence and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain household supplies and assist with the general upkeep of the home.
- Document significant incidents and communicate concerns to management in a timely manner.
- Respond appropriately during emergencies and notify management when necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- Comfortable driving a passenger van.
- Must be able to live on site.
- Must remain free from the use of marijuana (THC), including medical and recreational use, while employed in this position.
- Dependable, organized, honest, and able to maintain appropriate boundaries.
