Position Summary
The Career Services Coordinator is responsible for supporting graduates as they transition from education into the workforce. This position manages graduate follow-up, conducts exit interviews, verifies employment outcomes, and maintains accurate placement records to support institutional reporting and accreditation requirements. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and passionate about helping graduates achieve career success.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Graduate Exit Process
- Conduct exit interviews with graduating students before program completion.
- Review graduate employment goals and discuss career opportunities.
- Provide graduates with employment resources, resume assistance, and job search guidance.
- Ensure all required exit paperwork is completed and submitted accurately.
- Maintain complete graduate files and documentation.
Graduate Employment Follow-Up
- Contact graduates after licensure to determine employment status.
- Verify employment through graduate and employer communication.
- Collect and document employment verification information, including:
- Employer name
- Position title
- Employment start date
- Full-time or part-time status
- Job duties
- Obtain employer verification when required.
- Maintain accurate placement records in accordance with institutional and accrediting agency standards.
- Follow up with unemployed graduates by providing job leads, interview tips, and career resources.
Career Services
- Assist graduates with resume development and interview preparation.
- Build and maintain relationships with local employers and industry partners.
- Share employment opportunities with current students and graduates.
- Coordinate employer recruitment efforts and job postings.
- Maintain a database of employment opportunities for graduates.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of student and graduate records.
- Ensure all placement documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
- Prepare placement reports for administration and accrediting agencies as requested.
- Track graduate employment outcomes and follow-up attempts.
- Assist with accreditation reporting related to graduate placement rates.
Qualifications
- Associate degree preferred (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience in career services, education, customer service, human resources, or administrative support preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Comfortable making outbound phone calls and maintaining professional relationships.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and student information systems.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

- Knowledge of massage therapy or healthcare education is a plus.

This role is essential in supporting graduate success while ensuring accurate employment reporting and compliance with accreditation standards. The Career Services Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for graduates as they begin their professional careers.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
