Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Connecticut
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with students’ IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely records, progress notes, and IEP documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
