Responsibilities:
- Transport full and empty containers to and from the ports of NY and NJ to customer sites.
- Drop & Hook Containers
- Keep trucks clean and well maintained.
- Maintains DOT required logs and manifest
- Conducts daily inspections to ensure trucks safety
- Adhere to safety and company’s policies.
- Turn paperwork in complete and on time
- Maintain contract with dispatch for delivery instructions.
Experience/Qualifications:
- 5 Years or more Hauling in the Ports of NY/NJ
- Class A CDL, TWIC REQ'D
- Successfully Pass DOT Physical
- No more than 2 MVR Violations in last 3 years
- No Major accidents in last 3 years
- No DUI/DWI in Last 5 Years
Hazmat Endorsement Preferred
Salary/Benefits:
- Guarantee 40-60 working hours per week
- 40l k options after 3 Months
- W-2 pay
The driver will work Monday - Friday 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with some Saturdays as needed.
