Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly and energetic Hostess Cashier to join our team in a fast paced environment. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, greeting them with a warm smile and ensuring they have a great experience from the moment they arrive. You'll handle reservations, manage waitlists, and process payments efficiently while maintaining a welcoming environment for all visitors.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements to optimize flow.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the menu and wait times.
- Take reservations and manage waitlists.
- Process guest payments accurately at the cashier station, ensuring smooth transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and cashier area.
- Assist in coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service.
- Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, concerns, or special requests with a positive attitude.
Experience
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or cashier in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette are essential for interacting with guests effectively.
- Experience in hospitality, hotel, or guest services enhances your ability to create a welcoming environment.
