Host Duties:

Greet and welcome guests as they enter the establishment

Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus

Take reservations and manage the waitlist

Answer phone calls and provide information about the restaurant's services

Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests

Ensure that the dining area is clean and presentable at all times

Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow

Process guest payments using the POS system

Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional manner

Maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards guests and coworkers
Skills:

Excellent hospitality and customer service skills

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Attention to detail and ability to handle cash transactions accurately

Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest service principles

Familiarity with POS system is a plus

Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively
