Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately installing a variety of building materials, fixtures, and systems according to blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, from remodeling to new installations, while honing your skills in various trade disciplines.
Duties
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide installation processes with precision.
- Install building materials such as tile, masonry, stucco, drywall, trim carpentry, and flooring using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform fixture installation including cabinets, doors, windows, glass panels, and plumbing or electrical components.
- Conduct construction inspections to verify adherence to plans and safety standards throughout each project phase.
- Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and other tools to ensure proper fit and finish.
- Follow blueprint specifications and construction plans meticulously during remodeling or new builds.
- Operate heavy equipment or specialized tools as needed for specific installation tasks such as concrete forming or roofing.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction installation work across multiple trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or plumbing.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding for safe and effective installations.
- Familiarity with construction management principles and estimating processes is a plus.
- Experience with Bluebeam software or similar digital markup tools is desirable.
- Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately and follow detailed instructions precisely.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or team members.
Candidates should possess a solid foundation in construction site experience along with the ability to adapt quickly to different project requirements. A background in tile masonry, gutter installation, drywall finishing, or restoration work will be highly valued. Safety awareness and adherence to OSHA guidelines are essential for success in this role.
