Duties
- Greet customers warmly upon arrival and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs.
- Clearly explain recommended repairs, maintenance procedures, and estimates using automotive diagnostics knowledge and estimating software.
- Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, suspension work, or transmission diagnostics to maximize customer value.
- Prepare detailed repair orders and estimates, ensuring all necessary parts and labor are accurately documented for mechanic technicians.
- Communicate effectively with service technicians to relay customer concerns and verify completed work aligns with initial estimates.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities and process payments efficiently while maintaining accurate financial records.
Skills
- Proven experience in dealership or auto repair shop environments with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes.
- Familiarity with auto estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools.
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including transmissions, brakes, shocks & struts, air brakes, suspension components, tire service, and oil changes, etc.
- Excellent client communication skills to explain technical issues clearly and build rapport with customers.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks such as cash handling, estimating, and client follow-up simultaneously.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
