Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and skilled Concrete Form Carpenters to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and dismantling concrete forms used in various building projects. Your expertise will ensure that concrete structures are accurately shaped and safely supported throughout the pouring process. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on multiple projects, different types of commercial developments, utilizing your carpentry skills and concrete forming knowledge to deliver high-quality results efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Construct and assemble formwork using hand tools, power tools, metal studs, and framing techniques to create molds for concrete pouring.
- Ensure proper alignment, levelness, and stability of forms before concrete placement, maintaining safety standards at all times.
- Dismantle forms once the concrete has set, inspecting finished surfaces for quality and accuracy.
Skills
- Experience with concrete forms.
- Skilled in using hand tools (hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws) effectively.
- Knowledge of concrete forming techniques including form setup, alignment, and finishing processes like concrete finishing.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during form construction.
