What You'll Do
- Install conveyor systems and mechanical equipment
- Hang structural steel and conveyor headers from ceiling structures
- Assemble and install mezzanines, work platforms, stairs, handrails, and safety rail systems
- Install industrial laundry equipment and production machinery
- Read and interpret blueprints, AutoCAD drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
- Align, level, and adjust conveyor systems for proper operation
- Install and repair bearings, rollers, shafts, motors, sprockets, belts, and mechanical components
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, and rigging equipment
- Work closely with customers and other trades to complete projects on schedule
- Lead a crew of 2–3 installers while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety
Qualifications
Required:
- Previous experience as a Millwright, Mechanical Installer, Conveyor Installer, or Industrial
Mechanic
- Strong mechanical aptitude and installation experience
- Ability to read blueprints, AutoCAD drawings, and technical manuals
- Experience with conveyor systems, mezzanines, structural steel, or industrial equipment
installation
- Stick and MIG welding experience on 1/4"–1/2" steel
- Ability to perform horizontal, vertical, and overhead welds
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to supervise and motivate a crew
- Professional interaction with customers and fellow employees
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License with REAL ID
- Valid U.S. Passport (or ability to obtain one)
- Reliable transportation to and from your local airport Ability to travel throughout the United States for extended periods
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Comfortable working at heights using lifts and fall protection
- Ability to work overtime as required
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
