We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Director of Property Management to lead and oversee our property management operations. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient, compliant, and resident-focused management of low-income affordable housing properties. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of property management professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Oversee lease or rental agreement management, ensuring all documentation complies with legal standards and organizational policies.
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS systems to track occupancy, maintenance requests, financials, and compliance data efficiently.
- Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations, Landlord-Tenant laws, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) requirements, and Section 8 housing program guidelines.
- Manage property maintenance activities by coordinating with vendors, overseeing repairs, and ensuring facilities are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards.
- Handle client communication with professionalism and clarity, addressing tenant inquiries, resolving conflicts through effective conflict management strategies, and upselling additional services when appropriate.
- Develop budgets for property operations, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or compliance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of property management tools such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms.
- Extensive knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC compliance, Section 8 housing programs, and contracts related to property leasing.
- Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client relationship management and effective communication.
- Strong organizational skills including data entry, filing systems (physical and digital), budgeting processes, and administrative procedures.
- Office experience combined with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for daily operations.
- Ability to manage conflict resolution effectively while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Facilities management knowledge including basic building maintenance procedures and CMMS systems for tracking work orders.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
