Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Inspector/Housekeeping professional to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance within our hospitality environment. In this role, you will oversee the quality of housekeeping services, conduct inspections, and ensure that all guest areas, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities meet our rigorous cleanliness and safety standards. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities to verify cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed according to established standards, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Oversee floor care procedures such as carpet cleaning, tile maintenance, and waxing to maintain pristine flooring throughout the property.
- Identify areas needing improvement or repair and coordinate with maintenance staff for prompt resolution.
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, cleaning schedules, and maintenance issues for accountability and continuous improvement.
- Promote a culture of hospitality by ensuring all spaces are welcoming, hygienic, and aligned with brand standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial cleaning environments.
- Strong background in cleaning techniques including floor care, janitorial practices, and industrial cleaning procedures.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and guest service standards is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced setting.
