Job Description
Patel's Liquor is seeking a professional and dependable Store Manager to lead daily operations in a high-service wine and spirits retail environment, while also overseeing our Class B wholesale accounts supplying bars and restaurants.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys retail leadership, team development, and creating a great customer experience while maintaining strong operational standards across both our retail storefront and wholesale business.
What You'll Do
- Lead daily store operations from open to close
- Supervise, schedule, and coach employees during shifts
- Maintain excellent store presentation and merchandising
- Ensure compliance with alcohol laws, ID verification procedures, and Class B wholesale licensing requirements
- Manage and grow relationships with wholesale accounts (bars and restaurants)
- Process and fulfill wholesale orders and deliveries
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience on the retail floor
- Oversee inventory management and product ordering for both retail and wholesale
- Monitor cash handling and POS accuracy
- Help maintain a safe and organized store and warehouse environment
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has retail leadership or store management experience
- Takes pride in running a clean and organized store
- Is comfortable leading employees and holding standards
- Enjoys interacting with customers and providing recommendations
- Understands retail operations and accountability
- Can confidently manage B2B relationships with bar and restaurant clients
Qualifications
- Retail management experience preferred
- Liquor retail, distributor, hospitality, or bar management experience a plus
- Familiarity with Class B wholesale operations or willingness to learn
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience using POS systems
- Reliable and detail-oriented
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Valid driver's license may be required for wholesale account visits/deliveries
