Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sushi Roller to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exceptional sushi dishes and a strong background in the culinary arts. Our modern Asian Fusion restaurant is located in the Charlotte, NC area. It features a sushi and an Oyster bar, A5 Miyazaki Wagyu, Hyper Fresh Seafood, and an extensive menu of Modern Asian Cuisine. The restaurant has Spectrum Dining, a fully immersive 5D projection room, 3,000 square feet of outdoor dining and lounge, as well as extensive wine and Sake offerings with classic and featured craft cocktails.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, and nigiri with precision and attention to detail
- Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sushi station
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Assist in menu planning and development of new sushi dishes
- Experience:- Proven experience as a Sushi Roller or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and sushi preparation techniques
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
