Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
- Care for floors using appropriate techniques such as sweeping, mopping, polishing, or carpet cleaning to keep surfaces spotless and safe.
- Restock amenities like toiletries, towels, linens, and other supplies to meet guest needs promptly.
- Follow established safety protocols and cleaning procedures to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff alike.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards.
- Support housekeeping management in inventory control and proper storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work; hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving furniture or heavy supplies.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and custodial best practices is a plus.
