Job Summary
We are seeking dynamic and compassionate Crisis Float Supervisors for our crisis intervention teams and ensure the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services across diverse settings. In this pivotal role, you will provide crisis response to medical and behavioral situations, coordinate care plans, assist with compliance, provide feedback, coordinate staffing, and support team members in managing complex situations involving individuals with various mental health, developmental, and behavioral needs. Your leadership will help create a safe, supportive environment for the individuals we serve while promoting best practices in crisis management, de-escalation, supervision, and patient care. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate crisis response across multiple locations, ensuring timely and effective responses to urgent situations
- Provide direct support during crises involving individuals with mental health disorders, developmental disabilities, or behavioral challenges
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine immediate needs and appropriate interventions
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, positive supports, and behavioral management strategies
- Complete crisis debriefings following incidents with all involved parties
- Communicate with expanded support teams by providing notifications and team updates
- Assist Program Directors with program needs, compliance, and providing staff training and feedback
- Provide support across the company by working in-ratio at various program locations
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring crisis management support
- Strong knowledge in crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, and behavioral management strategies in diverse populations
- Supervisory experience is preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with medication administration, HIPAA compliance, and providing direct care
- Experience working within hospital, long-term care, crisis centers, or community care settings is required
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a calm, positive, and therapeutic approach to challenging situations
- Excellent communication skills with the capacity to motivate staff and build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds
- Driver's license is required
