Position Overview
We’re looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. This role involves a mix of animal care, facility maintenance, and customer interaction.
Position Set Schedule :
PM Shift: Wednesday - Sunday 1:30PM - 10 PM w/ Monday & Tuesdays off.
Daily Responsibilities
- Supervising dogs in daycare and boarding playgroups, ensuring safe and appropriate behavior
- Feeding, watering, walking, medicating and administering basic care according to individual schedules
- Cleaning kennels, yards, and common areas (a big part of keeping dogs healthy!)
- Monitoring dog health and behavior, and reporting any concerns to management
- Assisting with intake and check-out of dogs, including communicating with pet owners
- Maintaining a structured daily routine for all dogs in our care
What We’re Looking For
- Comfort and confidence working with dogs of all breeds and energy levels
- Strong work ethic and ability to stay active throughout the day
- Attention to detail, especially regarding cleanliness and safety
- Ability to follow instructions and remain consistent with routines and protocols
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Previous animal care experience is a plus, but not required (we can train the right person)
Work Environment
This is a physically active role that involves standing, walking, lifting, cleaning, and working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. It can be fast-paced and sometimes messy, but it’s also rewarding for someone who genuinely enjoys working with animals.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
