As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that all guests have a pleasant stay. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and reservations efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly, providing solutions to enhance their experience.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions using multi-line phone systems.
- Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are balanced at the end of each day.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction and room readiness.
- Provide information about local attractions, hotel amenities, and services to enhance guest relations.
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette while managing calls from guests and potential clients.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel front desk operations is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles is an asset.
- Familiarity with night audit processes is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in handling guest requests and reservations.
