ROLE SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES
This role owns pricing performance analytics and commercial reporting, translating Salesforce CRM, cost, and market data into clear insights and standardized dashboards. The position improves pricing strategy and execution by strengthening reporting in Salesforce, Microsoft 365, and Power BI to drive margin discipline, pipeline visibility, and sales effectiveness.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Own Salesforce commercial reporting (reports, dashboards, KPI definitions) and proactively surface trends in pipeline, win/loss, price realization, and customer activity to improve sales execution.
- Deliver weekly/monthly pricing and commercial performance reporting through Power BI and Salesforce dashboards, translating results into risks, opportunities, and recommended actions for leadership.
- Evaluate the impact of pricing and costing changes on sales volume, revenue, and margin performance.
- Partner with Sales leadership and IT to standardize the commercial reporting ecosystem—Salesforce dashboards for field execution, Power BI scorecards for leadership, and Microsoft 365 (Teams/SharePoint) for documentation, distribution, and governance.
- Lead pricing strategy analyses (segmentation, bundling, channel/customer price architecture) and convert findings into implemented pricing guidance and measurable performance tracking.
Strategic Pricing & Market Intelligence
- Develop and implement pricing strategies aligned with company objectives, market conditions, and customer needs.
- Conduct competitive pricing analyses to benchmark against industry peers and identify differentiation opportunities.
- Monitor price elasticity and customer behavior to inform dynamic pricing and promotional models.
- Use Power BI, Excel, and available pricing/ERP data to model pricing scenarios, quantify trade-offs, and track outcomes after implementation
- Ensure pricing policies comply with internal controls and external regulations, including antitrust and trade laws.
- Maintain documentation of pricing decisions and rationale for audit and transparency purposes.
- Own continuous improvement of pricing and commercial reporting tools (Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Power BI), including data quality checks, report standardization, and user adoption.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product Development to ensure pricing strategies are integrated across departments.
- Works with Supply Chain and IT to ensure the accuracy of material costs used for pricing.
- Works with Commercial Leadership team, Supply Chain, and IT to implement mass price changes.
- Enable stakeholders through training on Salesforce dashboards and Power BI reports, including definitions, how-to guides, and reporting best practices.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query) and Excel; ability to translate business questions into scalable dashboards and repeatable reporting.
- Strong knowledge of pricing strategy, market/competitive analysis, and basic compliance considerations related to pricing governance.
- Hands-on experience building Salesforce reports/dashboards and improving CRM data quality through clear definitions, required fields, and reporting standards.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience managing pricing systems and tools
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in pricing strategy, analytics, or related roles
- Strong proficiency in data visualization
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proficiency in compliance and regulatory frameworks affecting pricing

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
