What you have:

Ability to relate positively with young children

Ability to drive school bus to transport children to and from school

High school diploma or equivalent; prefer some college course work related to early childhood education

Clean driving record for the last five years

Valid driver’s license, no CDL required

Demonstrate knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
-
Ability to commit to a split shift schedule

Successful background check and VA licensing standards required

At least 18 yrs of age
What you will do:
-
Drive bus on all scheduled routes to and from school as well as approved activities
-
Always operate within the legal speed limits and in safe fashion without exception
-
Communicate with teachers, parents and children to meet the needs of each transported child
-
Work a split shift , 7:30-9:30am & 2-6pm– leaving the middle of your day free!
