Job Brief: The Operator will be responsible for processing customer details, adhering to the specifications on the customers purchase orders and job travelers. You will also be inspecting customers parts ensuring there has been no compromise to the integrity of said parts prior to processing. Also ensuring there are no mistakes or non-conformity issues after the processing of customer details.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Anodize/Chem. film using racking system that cleans, rinses and coats.
- Control anodizing/chem. Film equipment to provide corrosion resistance surface to aluminum objects. Selects holding rack according to size, shape and number of objects to be anodized/chem.
- Wires or clips objects to anodizing/chem. film rack and immerse rack in series of cleaning, etching, and rinsing baths.
- Positions objects in anodizing tank by suspending them from anode.
- Estimates amount of electric current and time required to anodize material.
- Hangs objects rack to air-dry.
- Maintains minor maintenance of the line (e.g. liquid levels and cleanliness.)
- Records run data on special process sheets.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm; weekends/overtime as required

- Experience and/or Educational Requirements

- High School or equivalent (preferred).
- AA/AS degree, Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma, Skilled Trades Apprenticeship, or other post high school training (two years duration) is preferred.
- Must be able to read and write English
- Knowledge in working with Microsoft Office and Databases.
