Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable cleaners to join our team. As a cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in vacation rental properties (Airbnb's). Your attention to detail and strong work ethic will contribute to creating a clean and safe environment for our clients.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and window cleaning
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Launder and change bed linens in residential properties
- Follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines
- Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
- Assist with housekeeping management duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Flexible schedule. This is not a standard 8-5 Job as start times and end times fluctuate depending on the properties for the day but rarely go late into the evening. MUST BE AVAILABLE ON WEEKENDS DURING SUMMER MONTHS.
- Valid drives license with good driving record.
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures a plus.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, and steam mops.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Basic knowledge of sanitization principles and practices
- Familiarity with residential cleaning standards is a plus
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
