We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented SAP ABAP Team Member specializing in Leasing RAR (Rental and Asset Reporting) to join our innovative enterprise technology team. Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and implement SAP ABAP programs focused on leasing processes, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design system enhancements and customizations for leasing modules within SAP.
- Maintain and optimize existing ABAP codebases, ensuring high performance, scalability, and adherence to best practices.
- Create detailed technical documentation including UML diagrams, system design specifications, and user manuals for leasing applications.
- Support integration efforts by developing interfaces using Web services (SOAP/REST), BAPI, IDOC, and other middleware tools.
- Conduct unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of ABAP programs to ensure robust functionality across distributed systems.
- Participate actively in Agile software development cycles, contributing to sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience with SAP ABAP development in leasing or asset management modules; familiarity with RAR is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of system design principles for enterprise applications with emphasis on scalability and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, SQL (including MySQL, PostgreSQL), and.NET frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, React.js, Bootstrap, and UI/UX best practices for web development.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure environments (AWS, Azure) and distributed computing architectures supporting SAP landscapes.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub, SVN, TFS (Team Foundation Server), and CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration/deployment.
- Ability to develop APIs using RESTful services or SOAP for seamless system integrations across platforms.
- Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), UML modeling tools like Enterprise Architect or Visual Studio UML plugins.
- Experience with database design using relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle PL/SQL; knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB is a plus.
- Excellent debugging skills using Eclipse or SAP’s debugging tools; ability to perform unit testing effectively.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban; ability to work efficiently within collaborative team environments.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
