If your passion for health and fitness inspires you to help others find joy to lead their best lives, then we are looking for you to join the Matrix team as a Membership Specialist and help create a unique experience for our members and guests.
Matrix provides racquet sport programs, boutique fitness classes, healthy food and social events to bring friends and family together. Our mission is to promote community wellness through health, fitness, and fun!
As part of our team, you will:
- Promote and sell memberships.
- Promote our healthier lifestyle solution to local employers.
- Enthusiastically greet members, prospective members, and guests.
- Encourage members and guests to take control of their health by utilitizing all areas of the clubs by promoting upcoming events.
- Provide high-level customer service to members and guests, finding resolutions to issues and concerns in a timely and positive manner.
- Assist members and guests in person or on the phone with scheduling lessons, court time, and/or special events.
- Be the face of Matrix by building and fostering community, both inside and outside the club facility.
- Have knowledge of and participate in all the club’s services and programs.
- Conduct campus tours to guests and potential members.
- Participate in community events for lead generation.
- Various clerical and administrative duties.
- Help enforce facility rules and regulations, ensuring facility is clean and safe.
- Adhere to operating procedures and regulations of Matrix.
Qualifications:
- Ability to build rapport and lasting relationships with prospective and current members.
- Ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Previous sales experience in fitness membership sales preferred.
- Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required.
- Well-organized with multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays shifts as needed.
- Good understanding of how to use social media to promote club events.
- Ability to work local community events to promote our services.
Education/Experience:
- Degree in sports management or related field preferred.
- Experience in coaching or playing racquet sports preferred.
- Interest in fitness and/or wellness preferred.
- Experience with memberships sales to health, fitness or racquet club preferred.
