The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth of Flow Safe pressure relief valve products within an assigned territory. This position develops and executes strategic sales plans, manages distributors and manufacturer's representatives, builds relationships with EPCs, OEMs, and end users, and identifies new business opportunities across key industrial markets including Oil & Gas, LNG, Chemical, Petrochemical, Industrial Gas, Power, Aerospace, and General Industrial.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve bookings, revenue, profitability, and market share objectives for Flow Safe pressure relief valve products.

Build and manage relationships with distributors, manufacturer's representatives, EPCs, OEMs, end users, and key accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities.

Provide technical sales support by recommending pressure relief valve solutions, conducting product presentations, customer training, and assisting with product selection and application.

Develop project opportunities by working with consulting engineers, EPC firms, and end users to secure product specifications and position Flow Safe products on new and existing projects.

Manage the sales pipeline by maintaining CRM opportunities, preparing accurate sales forecasts, monitoring market trends, and identifying competitive opportunities.

Collaborate with Inside Sales, Application Engineering, Operations, and Customer Service to ensure timely quotations, successful order execution, and outstanding customer satisfaction.

Support pricing and commercial negotiations while maintaining profitability objectives and monitoring competitor activities, pricing, and market conditions.

Represent Flow Safe at customer visits, industry conferences, trade shows, and technical events to strengthen customer relationships and expand market presence.

Maintain technical expertise in pressure relief valve applications, applicable industry codes and standards, and perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field preferred.

Minimum five (5) years of industrial technical sales experience, preferably involving pressure relief valves, control valves, instrumentation, rotating equipment, or other engineered process equipment.

Experience selling through distributors, manufacturer's representatives, and channel partners preferred.

Experience in the Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Industrial Gas, LNG, Power, or related process industries preferred.
Technical Qualifications

Strong understanding of pressure relief valve sizing, selection, and applications.

Working knowledge of pressure vessel protection principles and process safety.

Knowledge of applicable industry standards including ASME Section VIII, API 520, API 521, API 526, API 527, National Board, PED, CRN, CE, DOT, UV, VR, and other applicable certifications.

Understanding of fluid dynamics, including pressure, temperature, flow, line losses, and back pressure.

Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams, engineering specifications, and customer data sheets.

Knowledge of contract negotiation, pricing strategies, and commercial terms.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.

Willingness to travel extensively and work a flexible schedule as business needs require.
