Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Construction Framer to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for constructing the framework of buildings and structures, ensuring precision, safety, and quality at every stage. Your expertise in framing techniques, blueprint interpretation, and use of hand and power tools will help bring architectural visions to life. Duties
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute framing projects
- Erect metal buildings and install metal studs with precision and adherence to safety standards
- Perform concrete forming and rebar installation to prepare foundations and structural elements
- Execute frame carpentry tasks including dimensional measurements, trim carpentry, and woodworking
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely for framing, lifting, and material handling
- Install masonry components, stucco finishes, plastering, and perform restoration work as needed
- Measure materials using tape measures and ensure accurate cuts and placements according to blueprints
- Collaborate with construction management teams to adhere to project timelines and safety protocols
Skills
- Experience in wood framing, metal building erection, concrete forming, masonry, and steel framing
- Skilled in rebar installation, concrete finishing, plastering, stucco application, and woodworking
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety practices and heavy equipment operation
- Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately using tape measures and other hand tools
- Familiarity with construction management principles and coordinating multiple trades on-site
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in interpreting technical plans
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights, and prolonged periods on-site
