Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Duties and Responsibilities:

Receiving incoming goods, managing inventories, updating ERP system, solving customer issues, and assisting with supply procurement, as necessary.

Coordinate material receipts of incoming goods, with timely and appropriate Epicor’s ERP transactions.

Conduct various inventory management activities as it applies to finished goods and raw material movement, shipment staging, and the organization of finished goods and parts.

Including, but not limited to cycle counting (daily and monthly); finished goods and raw material movement and processing.

Execute packaging and shipping activities for product shipments.

Assist in establishing work instructions and procedures in preparation of an ISO certification readiness.

Assist with resolving customer issues as it relates to shipments and receipt of Process Insights products, including carrier tracking.

Ensure appropriate use of Epicor’s ERP system and adopt new business practices as part of newly modeled processes. Becomes a change-agent in support of new ERP practices.

Qualifying Attributes and Skills:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or technical certification in logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing preferred.

Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain activities, and process optimization.

Experience with ISO 9001 standards (ideally 2015) and familiarity with ERP systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office and other technical tools.

Ability to read, interpret, and comprehend engineering prints, assembly drawings, BOMs, component lists, electrical schematics, P&IDs, fabrication drawings, piping isometrics, and general arrangement drawings.

Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills, with a results-oriented work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Fiscal and financial awareness, including attention to cost, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds safely, and willingness to assist with tasks beyond standard responsibilities as needed.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.

Demonstrates initiative, reliability, and the ability to follow through on commitments with team members and management.
