Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages.
- Participate in menu planning and development as needed.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Proficient in kitchen techniques, including knife skills and food handling.
- Experience in meal preparation for restaurants or catering services.
