McGovern Law Firm is a personal injury law firm dedicated to helping injured victims in Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced Case Manager specializing in personal injury cases to join our dynamic team. The preferred candidate will possess prior experience in handling interactions with insurance companies, managing intake and handling calls, navigating pre-litigation procedures, drafting demand letters, and conducting settlement negotiations. We're after someone who's proactive, dedicated, and excels in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of personal injury cases from intake to settlement.
- Communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and attorneys.
- Draft demand letters and negotiate settlements with insurance companies.
- Coordinate medical treatment and follow-up care for clients.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
- Draft correspondence and other legal documents, such as but not limited to, Notice of Representation, Settlement Demands, Petitions, Discovery Requests/Responses; etc.
- Request/review medical and billing records with verified affidavits;
- Submit electronic filings on Efile and PACER;
- Calendar pertinent deadlines; and
- Assist attorneys with routine clerical duties and other miscellaneous legal duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: BILINGUAL PROFICIENCY IN SPANISH AND ENGLISH
The hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 a.m. or 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., M-F. Hourly compensation is commensurate with experience. Raises and/or bonuses may be given based off of your work performance.
