Duties
- Assist in interpreting construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of project specifications
- Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites
- Perform finishing, cutting, and formwork construction to create durable structures
- Conduct renovation work including plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, flooring installation, tile laying, and roofing repairs
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for yourself and team members
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a strong understanding of heavy lifting and working on various construction projects
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Hands-on experience with concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, cutting, pumping, and formwork construction
- Familiarity with working on commercial or residential sites involving masonry, framing (including metal stud framing), roofing, and restoration projects
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts or concrete pumps safely; experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for diverse tasks including carpentry, plastering, caulking, tile laying, flooring installation, welding, and schematics reading
- Understanding of construction safety regulations to ensure compliance at all times
