Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated long-term Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of childhood development and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. These roles involve implementing engaging lesson plans that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development in children ages 3 to 5 years old.
Responsibilities
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor and assess children's progress in various areas including physical education, math, and social skills.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development, behavior, and educational needs.
- Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning experience across different subjects.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom to ensure a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Assist in preparing and serving meals to children in collaboration with other teachers.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in childhood education.
Requirements
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Experience working in daycare or preschool settings is highly desirable.
- Patient, nurturing, and compassionate demeanor.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Familiarity with positive educational philosophies is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Commitment to child welfare and creating an enriching learning environment for all students.
- Able to pass a background check.
