Dog Daycare and Boarding Resort in Mills River, NC!
Duties
- Follow procedures to care for pets, including feeding, walking, and administering medication.
- This job requires a lot of cleaning! One important aspect of care is keeping the pet suites and play areas super clean at all times.
- Engage with pets through playtime, exercise, and companionship.
- Monitor pet behavior and health, reporting any concerns as necessary.
- Maintain open, honest communication.
- Assist with basic grooming tasks such as brushing or bathing as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners, addressing any inquiries or concerns with compassion and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in animal care is required; familiarity with dog handling and kennel environments is preferred; Farm/barn work is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people.
- Must be comfortable working with various animals, including dogs of all sizes.
- Reliable transportation is required.
