The goal of the Warehouse Parts Runner is to support our field operations by managing inventory, coordinating and making deliveries while maintaining an efficient warehouse. This role is responsible for ensuring technicians receive the right parts and materials when they need them while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
Role: Warehouse Parts Runner
Pay: Hourly, $20-$22.00
Role Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, transport, and deliver parts, materials, and equipment using company vehicles.
- Prepare, receive, inspect, and process incoming and outgoing materials.
- Complete delivery documentation accurately and maintain records of deliveries, pickups, and inventory transactions.
- Respond to requests from field technicians by gathering, verifying, and delivering the correct parts, materials, and equipment.
- Prioritize deliveries based on job urgency, customer needs, and business priorities.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff and field personnel to ensure accurate documentation for inventory and billing.
- Purchase or pick up parts from local suppliers as directed.
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely (forklift certification preferred).
- Learn to safely operate a non-CDL box truck for deliveries.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ServiceTitan, Microsoft Office, and other company systems.
- Assist with warehouse operations, grounds maintenance, and counter support when deliveries are not required.
- Build positive relationships by communicating professionally with customers, vendors, coworkers, and job site contacts.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Role Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- 1 or more years’ experience in warehouse, delivery, shipping/receiving, or inventory operations.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and transport materials throughout the workday.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills; experience with inventory software or ServiceTitan is a plus.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Role Qualifications:
- Experience working within or supporting trade operations (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, etc).
- Knowledge of trade-specific parts, fittings, tools, etc.
- Intermediate knowledge/use of industry standard software (i.e., Service Titan, or other related systems).
