We are currently seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to support Kephera Diagnostics’ growing clinical testing operations. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for patients and customers, assisting with inquiries related to diagnostic testing services, specimen collection, order coordination, payment processing, and result access.
This position is approximately 20 hours per week and may be structured as hybrid or remote depending on the candidate and location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond professionally and compassionately to customer inquiries via phone and email
- Assist customers with placing orders for diagnostic testing services
- Support customers with specimen collection instructions and shipping coordination
- Help facilitate payment processing and customer account support
- Assist customers with accessing test results and general testing information
- Coordinate with internal R&D and CLIA laboratory personnel regarding technical or operational questions
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established laboratory and customer service procedures
- Support a positive customer experience while operating in a regulated healthcare environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of customer service experience in healthcare, diagnostics, laboratory services, or a related clinical environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
- Professional, empathetic, and patient-focused communication style
- Comfortable working with confidential health-related information
- Experience with laboratory workflows, specimen handling, or healthcare systems is a plus
