Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Evening Shift
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team at the Pennsylvania Soldiers' and Sailors' Home (PSSH) in Erie, PA. Located on a historic 26-acre campus overlooking Lake Erie, our facility is the oldest of Pennsylvania's six state-run veterans homes. In this role, you will provide exceptional personal care, skilled nursing, and specialized memory support to the veterans and spouses who call our 207-bed community home.

Pay & Shift Schedule
- Hourly Rate: $27.00 - $32.00 / hour (Based on experience)
- Shift: Evening Shift
- Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality skilled nursing and personal care to veteran residents and their spouses.
- Administer medications, injections, and wound care treatments accurately within the LPN scope of practice.
- Monitor, record, and report changes in resident conditions to RN supervisors and on-site medical staff.
- Support residents in our dedicated 32-bed dementia and Alzheimer’s memory care unit.
- Assist with daily living activities and ensure a safe, clean environment for all residents.

Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to geriatric or memory care.
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility preferred.
